In June 2012, Stanford's Center on Democracy, Development and Rule of Law affiliated faculty member and Stanford Law School Professor Erik Jensen led training for the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Tunisia on the relationship between law and economic development. Jensen, who has extensive experience developing rule of law systems in transitioning countries, presented to over 50 of the AFDB's senior leadership to deepen their knowledge of the law's important role in regulating economy and society.
