The How to Guide provides guidance on how to plan and manage better the M&E of DDR programmes. The guide identifies simple, practical steps for DDR programme planners to integrate M&E into DDR programme design. This Planning Toolkit is designed to help components prioritize their work in accordance with the “The Contribution of United Nations Peacekeeping to Early Peacebuilding: a DPKO/DFS Strategy for Peacekeepers” (2011). The Planning Toolkit aims at assisting UN Field Missions in prioritising those activities that advance the political objectives of a UN Field Mission and/or a peace process, and which may also contribute to strengthening immediate stability and security, and/or lay the foundations of institution building together with partners. By prioritising more rigorously and planning to implement those activities for which peacekeepers have a comparative advantage within the UN system, peacekeeping operations should deliver assistance in a more efficient and cost-effective manner and be able exit sooner.

Le présent module de ‘’Notions fondamentales’’ de droit répond au besoin des agents de l’ordre judiciaire de mieux connaître les notions juridiques de base qui leur permettront de communiquer aisément avec les usagers des services de la justice. Ainsi, les AOJ devraient avoir une formation de  base sur les notions fondamentales de droit et de la procédure pour accomplir valablement leur rôle.
