Alexander Babutsidze is an Intern in ISSAT’s Advisory Field Support team.
His role includes assisting in development of a Strategic Analysis of the Georgian and Moldovan Security Sector, providing logistical support, with the planning of the ISSAT’s team in Georgia, and contributing to the drafting of reports, concept notes and other project materials.
Prior to taking up this role in 2022, Alexander had worked as a Team Leader of Swiss Military Observers in Kosovo, within NATO’s Kosovo Force (KFOR). Before joining ISSAT, he also interned within DCAF’s Security Unit.
Alexander holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Lausanne, and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in International Affairs at the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
Alexander speaks French, English, German, Russian, and Georgian.
