Zachary Fesen is an Intern in ISSAT’s Advisory Field Support team.
His role includes providing research assistance and logistical support to the AFS team. Zachary also contributes to the drafting of reports, concept notes, and methodology development.
Prior to taking up this role in 2023, Zachary interned with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies before working as a research assistant with the Bulan Institute for Peace Innovations in Geneva.
Zachary holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Studies from the University of Kansas. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID).
Zachary speaks English, decent Levantine Arabic and Spanish, and is currently learning French.
