Methodological support to OSCE in conducting Security Needs Assessment
ISSAT will provide methodological support to OSCE as defined in the TOR for the Security Needs Assessment. This will include:
- ISSAT preparation of materials for and facilitation of Methodology workshops; these will equip the OSCE’s three teams of consultants to conduct the assessment in their three respective core areas.*
- ISSAT review and feedback on products of the three teams, comprising (1) assessment plans, and (2) findings and recommendations.
- If OSCE resource allows, ISSAT preparation of materials for and facilitation of Validation workshops.
* (1) Integrated border management, (2) Anti-corruption, and (3) Public Security/Police.

Introductory Training on Peace Support Operations and SSR
This five-day training will bring together approximately 25 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the region, including military, police and civilian personnel. The course includes several modules covering topics such as the concept, context and components of SSR, cross-cutting issues, and soft skills. The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) will take the lead in the design and delivery of the course, with ISSAT mentoring the PSOTC team and providing some support in the delivery of the training.
