Interpeace is an international organisation for peacebuilding that strengthens the ability of societies to manage conflict themselves in sustainable and non-violent ways. Interpeace designs and delivers its work tailored to each situation in partnership with local partners and communities, based on extensive consultation and research.
Interpeace are looking for a Senior Peacebuilding Adviser to its office in Geneva.
The Senior Peacebuilding Adviser provides substantive direction and guidance, ensuring coherence between the different activities of the Policy, Learning and IPAT unit and Programme Unit on Interpeace’s activities related to Peace Responsiveness. S/he will provide important substantive guidance to Interpeace colleagues on peacebuilding theory and practice and also support efforts toward joint peacebuilding programming across the Humanitarian, Development and Peace Nexus as well as with stabilisation actors.
The Senior Peacebuilding Adviser also her/himself designs and delivers capacity development processes with partner organisations; advises on joint-programme design; designs and delivers trainings; co-designs and facilitates cross-organisational learning with partner organisations; and, guides and contributes to the production of knowledge and policy documents.
