DCAF, in partnership with South Africa’s Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), is developing a project to promote network building and the sharing of good practices between private security regulators in the SADC region. As part of this project, DCAF is commissioning a Regional Baseline Study on private security regulation in the SADC region. The first findings of the study will be presented by the Senior Research Consultant at a regional expert meeting to be held in June 2019. This workshop will be also an opportunity to exchange with experts on private security and private security regulators to then finalise the study at the end of July 2019.
DCAF require the services of a Senior Research Consultant to develop a regional baseline study on Private Security Regulation in the SADC Region: Challenges and Opportunities. The Senior Research Consultant may work with collaborators who should ideally have different geographical experience.
