The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic forms a part of the executive power in the Slovak Republic.It is responsible for the development of relations with other states and co-operation with multi-national and international organisations, in particular in the area of foreign and security policy, bilateral relations, economic co-operation, culture, science, technology, and education.

The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) is a directorate under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). Norad aims to be the centre of expertise for evaluation, quality assurance and dissemination of the results of Norwegian development cooperation. It will ensure that the goals of Norway's development policy are achieved by providing advice and support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Norwegian foreign service missions. And it will administer the agency's grant schemes so that development assistance provided through Norwegian and international partners contributes effectively to poverty reduction.

The Ministry of Defence is a Government Office with responsibility for the formation and implementation of Norwegian security and defence policy. The Ministry is responsible for the overall management and control of the activities of subordinate agencies.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to work for Norway’s interests internationally: to safeguard the country’s freedom, security and prosperity.

The Defence organisation has three core tasks:

• defending national and Allied territory, including the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba;
• protecting and promoting the international rule of law and international stability;
• supporting civil authorities in upholding the law and providing disaster relief and humanitarian assistance, both nationally and internationally.

That is the Netherlands Defence organisation.
           
           

Every hour of every day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs promotes the interests of the Kingdom abroad. The Ministry coordinates and carries out Dutch foreign policy at its headquarters in The Hague and through its missions abroad. It is likewise the channel through which the Dutch Government communicates with foreign governments and international organisations.

As a country that looks beyond its borders, the Netherlands is committed to building a safe, stable and prosperous world. In The Hague, and at more than 150 embassies and consulates worldwide, staff are actively involved in addressing issues such as poverty reduction, climate change, respect for human rights and the rule of law and eliminating conflict. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also works closely with the other ministries to help shape the Europe of the future and ensure that the Netherlands speaks with one voice in the European Union.

Irish Aid is the Government of Ireland’s programme of assistance to developing countries. The overarching objective of Irish Aid is the reduction of poverty, inequality and exclusion in developing countries.

The Department has civil and military elements and was established by the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924. The primary role of the civil element of the Department is to support the Minister as head of the Department and in particular to provide policy advice and support on Defence matters, including assistance with policy formulation and the implementation of policy as directed by the Minister.

The Mission of the Department of Foreign Affairs is to advance Ireland's political and economic interests in the European Union and in the wider world, to promote Ireland's contribution to international peace, security and development both through the European Union and through active participation in international organisations, in particular the United Nations, to protect our citizens abroad, and to pursue reconciliation and partnership on the island of Ireland.
