North Africa Donor Mapping
ISSAT’s support is requested to conduct a mapping study of SSR programmes ongoing in five countries in North Africa (Egypt, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia and Algeria). The study will map security and justice reform programmes including access to justice and legal empowerment. It will also look at emerging thematic area support, including accountability, prevention of violent extremism, migration and other context specific challenges. The intention of the mapping is to facilitate coordination and complementarity amongst donors, stronger alignment with national strategies and visions and facilitate a higher contribution to aid effectiveness.
This mandate is being implemented in close coordination with MENA and North Africa Division.
