Mandator
The IHEDN requested DCAF-ISSAT to facilitate a table top exercise on the last day of the course. The exercise was based on the context of Guinea Conakry and designed to transfer knowledge gained from previous conferences into practical team work. It enabled participants to have a better ownership of the complexity of SSR in practice.
Mandate outputs / products
- Table top exercise,
- Handouts,
- Additional resources for the participants,
- Exercise delivery,
- Mission report.
Intended immediate outcomes of mandate
This table top exercise brought to the participants a clear view of how to integrate SSR in wider actions, being international development, peacekeeping or stabilisation.
As well, participants networked and worked together in an engaging format.
