The Global Challenges Forum Foundation (GCFF), which may be referred to as simply GCF (Global Challenges Forum) or GCFF, is an organization of think tanks, research centers, and academic institutions with the goal of contributing to the much-needed resolution of existing and future global security challenges.  Consisting of a dynamic online community sharing solutions through collaborative networks, a series of issues specific sub-forums that occur throughout the globe, and an annual summit organized as a “forum of forums,” the GCF builds on a diverse membership and worldwide network of partners to propose solutions to global challenges.

Recognizing the complexity, imminent risks, and potential impacts of the 21st century problems and the need to develop more integrated, holistic, and bottom-up approaches, representatives from strategy centers, academia, civil society, intergovernmental organizations, and business are brought together through the Global Challenges Forum in the spirit of global partnership and a cosmopolitan ethos.

The organization is  domiciled in Geneva as a not-for-profit international foundation  registered in Switzerland.  Its establishment  is guided  by a Board, Advisory Council, and a Secretariat, committed to transparency and accountability in their decision-making processes.

Dr. Walter L. Christman, President of Global Strategic Analysis, LLC, serves as the Chair of the Global Challenges Forum Foundation.

The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) is a private diplomacy organisation founded on the principles of humanity, impartiality and independence. Their mission is to help prevent, mitigate, and resolve armed conflict through dialogue and mediation

HD is one of the world's leading organisations in the field of conflict mediation. Since 1999, it has been helping to prevent and resolve armed conflict, and to alleviate the suffering of those affected by violence. Independent and discreet, we work with our clients – parties to conflict – to assist them in their search for peace.

They use the tools of private diplomacy to expand the space for the non-violent resolution of armed conflict. They open channels of communication and mediate between parties in conflict, facilitate dialogue, provide support to the broader mediation and peacebuilding community, carry out capacity building work, and conduct research on mediation issues. They deploy their expertise to support local and nationally-owned processes that protect civilians and foster lasting and just peace.

Their position enables them to link and collaborate with multiple organisations and actors within the mediation field.

The ICP's comprehensive approach is based on interdisciplinary practice and research in the areas of international peace and conflict research, critical systems theory, culture and communication studies, political psychology, group psychotherapy and others. In cooperation with internationally renowned institutions, universities, researchers and practitioners they continuously develop services and contribute to the area of conflict transformation and peacebuilding.
 
The ICP objectives are:

• Peacebuilding on individual and societal level;
• Promotion of non-violent conflict transformation;
• Promotion of conflict sensitive approaches in international development cooperation;
• Prevention of violence;
• Support to people afflicted by conflicts both home and abroad;
• Assistance of reconciliation processes, especially after violence;
• Development of cultures and structures that promote peaceful fulfillment of the human basic needs;
• Integration of diverse theories, approaches and methods of conflict transformation and peacebuilding.

Initiatives of Change (IofC) is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour, starting with their own.

Many of the world’s problems – and their solutions – are rooted in human nature. Fear, hate, greed and indifference perpetuate injustice, poverty, conflict and environmental destruction. Yet it is also in human nature to be compassionate, courageous and creative. People can live the change they wish to see.

The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) with National Sections covering every continent, an International Secretariat based in Geneva, and a New York office focused on the work of the United Nations (UN).

Since its establishment in 1915, it has brought together women from around the world who are united in working for peace by non-violent means and promoting political, economic and social justice for all.

The approach is always non-violent, and members use existing international legal and political frameworks to achieve fundamental change in the way states conceptualise and address issues of gender, militarism, peace and security.

Its strength lies in its ability to link the international and local levels. WILPF is very proud to be one of the first organisations to gain consultative status (category B) with the United Nations, and the only women’s anti-war organisation so recognised.
