ISSAT support to Zimbabwe Security & Justice Scoping Mission

ISSAT was requested to provide a Security and Justice Advisor to integrate the UK Stabilisation Unit team carrying out an initial scoping of the Zimbabwean justice and security sector to assess the potential viability of UK provision of support to this area.

Debrief and report considering the role of the security sector in the economy.

Outcome objectives of mandate

Sound analysis of the current security and justice sector configuration to inform potential options for UK re-engagement in support to the sector, potentially feeding into future programme design.
