Lilla Albert is a Project Assistant in ISSAT's Professional Development and Training Team.
Her role involves the development and implementation of face-to-face and online courses on security sector governance and reform (SSG/R) and on effective advising in fragile contexts. She also contributes to the teams daily coordination with DCAF-ISSAT Governing Board Members, bilateral and multilateral partners to develop and implement training programs.
Prior to joining ISSAT in 2021, Lilla, has worked at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in the Field Operations and Technical Capacity Division with a focus on Human Rights in Humanitarian Action and the nexus of Humanitarian, Peace and Development. She has also worked in supporting positions at the International Trademark Association, the Protect Our Winters UK charity and the Humanitarian Emergency Response Africa NGO in roles relating to communication, digital engagement, training, research and editing.
Lilla Albert holds an Master’s Degree from the University of Leeds in Environment and Development with international fieldwork experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Sociology from Aston University. She is currently in the course of completing a Double Masters in Disaster Management.
Lilla speaks English, German, Hungarian, Spanish and some French.
