As part of the World Bank's Virtual Fragility Forum, we are hosting a virtual design thinking solutions lab on "Improving Service Delivery Through Security Sector Governance" together with Protellus.
We have released our pre-recorded session on Design thinking as a methodology to ensure a people-centered approach; Iraq’s security and justice challenges; and why service delivery is so important through the linkages and operational entry points of conflict prevention and SSG/R.
Participatory Design Thinking group sessions
The group sessions enables participants in a participatory way to explore user-centric solutions and develop practical understanding of how SSG/R contributes to the root causes of conflict and fragility, using real case examples from Iraq. It aim to bring together a diverse group of practitioners and policy makers from various sectors, stressing a diversity of experiences to enable a dynamic problem-solving process and creating multidisciplinary solutions.
Each small group session is open to a maximum of five participants to enable a fully interactive format and we count on your active participation in the session you sign up for. Selection of participants will aim to ensure a diverse and balanced group in terms of gender, geography and sectoral background. You will only have to sign up to one of the group sessions and registration is available here!
As the number of spots are very limited, we would also like to ask you to kindly cancel your registration in case you would be unable to attend.
