Shestin Thomson is an Intern in ISSAT's Professional Development and Training Team.
Her role includes supporting the PDT team with designing, preparing for and implementing training programs and capacity-building projects, and contributing to the drafting of reports, concept notes and other communication materials.
Prior to taking up this role in 2022, Shestin served as Policy Advisor in United States House of Representatives and as the Professional Staff Member on the United States House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, Energy, the Environment and Cyber.
Shestin is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
