Evaluation of the joint UNDP Rule of Law Portfolio in DRC

01/09/2020 - 31/12/2020

Target country

As part of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Global Program series of evaluation, UNDP mandated ISSAT to conduct an evaluation of it Rule of Law Portfolio (2015-2020) in DRC. The evaluation aims at enabling UNDP and its partners to gain an overall understanding of the strategy, relevance, Monitoring and Evaluation, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and national ownership of the joint programme. At the global level, this will feed into the evolving practices of United Nations joint programmes. In DRC, the results of the evaluation will enable the UN system and its partners to build on the programme's successes and learn from its failures to move into a new phase of support to the rule of law, providing better justice and security for the population.
