Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice

The Federal Ministry of Justice is a ministry of the Austrian federal government. It has offices in the Palais Trautson.

Austrian Armed Forces

The primary objective of the Austrian Armed Forces is the military defence of Austria. This is conducted on the principles of a militia system. Other tasks include defending constitutional institutions, preserving law and order and providing humanitarian aid in case of natural catastrophes. Because of Austria's membership in the United Nations, the European Union and the Partnership for Peace (PfP) Program, foreign assignments have notably increased in importance.

Austrian Development Cooperation

Austria conducts bilateral development cooperation with partner countries and provides multilateral assistance together with international organisations. Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) also collaborates with non-governmental organisations that implement programmes and projects in the partner countries and contribute to developmental education at home. ADC also works with private sector and industry as another major partner.
